Delete your Addalaf account

In the app (fastest)

You can delete your account yourself, on the web or on iOS: go to Settings → Delete my account and confirm. This removes your account and everything in it. You can also delete a single speech from its own screen.

Can't sign in?

If you cannot sign in, email support@addalaf.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will reply within 30 days. (Emailing from the account's own address is how we confirm the request is yours.) There is no form here and we collect nothing new on this page.

What is deleted, and what is kept

The following is copied from our Privacy Policy:

When you delete your account, we delete all of your data from our database. Copies may remain in backups for up to [7] days and in our hosting provider's server logs until they expire, after which they are gone.
When you delete a talk, we delete its title, description, speech text, suggestions and your edits. We keep a content-free record that a suggestion was kept, edited or rejected on a date, so we can measure whether Addalaf works. That record contains none of your words and is deleted with your account.
